Goldfinch60

Lost in Words.

I was just sitting there,

Creating words,

Enjoying every moment

As my thoughts became visible.

Each word so meaningful,

So meaningful to me.

I suddenly looked up,

I was amazed,

So much time had gone,

Where had it gone?

Then I realised,

I had become lost,

Totally lost in words.

Is it half past Summer yet? Hope time does not go too quickly. We best not enjoy ourselves too much then. That's when time is said to pass quickly!

    • Goldfinch60

It is passing quickly so make sure you enjoy every moment.

As I am when painting - I am in another world.

I can totally understand that, it is amazing how the time flies when in that world.

it flies like the wind and waits for no man... nicely penned my friend...

Thank you Neville; yes it does certainly fly on those occasions.

So often that happens to me too - minds take wings to another dimension when we get lost in writing.

It flies through the ether in the glory of words.

            Hi Goldfinch60,

A beautiful and good write on the beauty of words.

Keep writing and safe during these challenging times.

Yes Andy, for every time you come out with a new poem. Keep up the great work Andy.

I am so with you in this. Much of my scrawlings are generated late at night and the realisation of the morning hour has oft led me to wait a further half hour so that i may be the first to post on mps in any given day.

But what a wonderfully absorbing way to pass time.

                  • Goldfinch60

I am not surprised that the time goes, i am a lark so most of my scribblings are done before the cock crows.
                    Yes it is great

I know that place well, time passes so fast when absorbed in words, try writing a song (words and music) and I vouch a whole day will pass like lightning. Excellent stuff. Joe

                    • Goldfinch60

Thank you Joe, yes there is no time in our lives, or so it seems to be.
