Acceptance

Accidental Poet

But it's alright now

I learned my lesson well

see you can't please everyone

so you got to please yourself

Acceptance

Why is it so hard to accept

A person for who they are?

That their beliefs are wrong

From that of another

For the closed door of skeptics

To oppose an open mind

That one man’s happiness

Should be another man’s sadness

And where does one turn

When ears turn away?

Solitude is a lonely place

But sometimes standing alone

For all that you believe in “is”

Acceptance

So much truth. Gotta accept that you’re alone sometimes yeah? I believe though we have to accept that no single person will ever have the exact same beliefs as ourselves. That is what makes us all unique. Gotta attack the world with an open mind.

So true, acceptance is a powerful tool in our armoury of life.

Self, does not need Acceptance from self, and so I choose Solitude.
    Thank you.

    Great Write Accidental Poet. Don

Thanks Don for your comment and fav. Apparently, some people here don't seem to understand what and why I write what I do. Love doesn't always have to be sad. And whether you, I or anyone believe in God or not, I believe somewhere there is someone we'll all have to answer to. Have a great day Don. ~ Bob.
