Poet's Day.

Goldfinch60

In all my working life they were there,

Those very special days.

They occurred every week,

They still do in my retirement,

But are not as special

As when I was working.

Those Fridays were always special,

So very special.

They were POETS DAYS,

Push off early,

Tomorrow’s Saturday.

I saw a comedy show with a posh wife. She said 'Oh, I suppose SOME people have to work weekends!' She was too posh to do so.

I have known people like that, I have worked many weekends in my working life - never a problm though.
