Got That.

Goldfinch60

There it was a list from Amazon,

Recommendations for me,

I read through them.

Max Richter “From Sleep”,

Got that.

Mahler “ The Symphonies”,

Got them

Max Richter “Recomposed”

Got that.

“The Best of Beethoven”,

Got that.

Max Richter “The Blue Notebooks”,

Got that.

Dvorak “Symphonies 8 and 9”,

Got them.

Vivaldi “The Four Seasons”,

Got them.

There is so much music

And I have much of it,

But this was funny

As every piece they recommended,

I had every one.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I have been an Amazon Prime member since 2006 so I know them and they know me. They often send suggestions as things that I may like and a couple of days ago they sent me a list of music. The words I have written actually uses ALL the recommended music on the list.

You got my recordings too? Me 'hymn-book' songs?! Aww, why are they not recommended, my CD's?heehee. Cos it's me singing 'em.

No mention of Orchidee's latest recording? Bit like Buzzfeed - I did two quizes on line so they could guess my age and name. The result: I am 17 years old and my name is Joan.

Very glad to meet you Joan.

I notice young Joan (M.E.) has picked up her camera today.

You must have a huge collection. Do you play vinyl? Are you of the persuasion that vinyl has a fuller richer more natural quality than CD. Or is your hearing more attuned to the crispness of digital recording assuming your auditory faculty is not failing with age of course.

Birdsong is still as sweet as ever it was when we listen.

I do have one or two in my collection of vinyl, cassettes and CDs. I have the ability to play vinyl but when CDs first came out in the last century I could always tell when a record or a CD was being played on the radio, the clarity of the CD was so clear, I have therefore stuck with CDs and latterly of course straight from the Web with streaming - I use Amazon Prime Music, the choice is therefore almost infinite.

Yes Natures Symphony is always best.
