A Moment in Nature.

Goldfinch60

I looked out of the window

I saw this magnificent site,

The green trees had turned red.

The beauty was astounding,

I had never seen this before,

Not this wondrous image,

Which I captured in my heart.

I looked back at the site

The trees were green once more,

But I had captured the image,

An image of that moment,

That moment in Nature.

  • Comment from author about the poem: The picture is what I saw when I looked out of my conservatory, the sunset had turned the trees red, I had never seen them look like this before and it only lasted for a couple of minutes but I had my camera handy. It certainly was a 'moment in Nature'.
