I AM The Door (or Gate)

John 10 v.7-10

Jesus did say, Truly, truly

The door, the gate, I be

Of the sheep-fold, they safe reside

I with them e'er abide

 

All that ever came before me

Are thieves and robbers, see

But the sheep di not hear them when

They sought to mislead then

 

I am the door, and if any

By me enter in free

Into sheep-fold, they saved shall be

Find pasture pleasantly

 

They, my sheep, in and out hall go

And they shall blessings know

The thief comes not, but for to steal

Kill, destroy, do ill-will

 

But I am come so that they may

Have life, and too I say

That they might have it sure, fully

E'en more abundantly

          ANGELA HERE - Thnaks for sharing Uncle Steve ! Great Hymn ! The awesome thing about the Holy Spirit is that He blesses (those of us that are filled with the Spirit) from the INSIDE OUT ! He enabes us with the FRUIT of the SPIRIT to witness in the World ! He empowers us with the 19 Gifts of the Spirit to Serve GOD in the Work of the Local & Universal Church ~ AMEN As the DOOR of the Sheepfold JESUS keeps US (His Sheep) safe inside teh FOLD and he also keeps out those who woul do US harm ~ AMEN
