I looked forward in my life
And see the place where,
The place where I wanted to go.
But in my life’s journey
I travelled other paths
That came before me,
And those paths also diverted,
Diverted me from my intention,
To go to that place.
But in my old age I know,
Know that I am in the right place.
So I know that I may not have gone
To that place where I intended to go,
But I think I have ended up,
In that place where I needed to be.

A fine write Gold.
In a similar way (poem to follow) Thomas asked Jesus once: 'We don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way to get there?'
ANGELA HERE - Good Wednesday Uncle Mike - thanks for another enigmatic Poem. BRIAN & I sure are where we wanted to be - but we could so easily have missed each other had it not been for the intimacy of the Hospital Dance four Years ago ! We both needed Someone & found them ~ Love the Poem.
Love the CELLO my fave after the piano ! So HUMAN in shape & sentiment and therefor ideal for the Pathos & Deliverance that is embodied in Schindlers List ! One of the nost moving true films I have ever watched.

I really like this poem Goldfinch. It makes me think about whether i am in the right place.
Whatever place you are in will end up the right place.
Good to see you back.
Keep writing for yourself and for us.
