Your testimonies wonderful

They be unto my soul

The entrance of your words give light

We gain spiritual sight

 

And your words give understanding

To the simple, each thing

That love your name, and my steps here

Direct in your word near

 

Let not sin dominate o'er me

For I your servant be

Deliver me from oppression

Of men, troubles each one

 

So will I keep your precepts sure

Make your face shine e'ermore

Upon your servants, and do teach

Me your good statutes each

 

Rivers of waters overflow

From my eyes, for 'tis so

Men do not your law steadfast keep

For this cause do I weep

    I used to have spiritual sight, but since I cut write back, and on a good day, I can almost see for yards....... 🙂

      A & B HERE ~ Good Afternoon Uncle Steve ~ MPS seems deserted today ~ I guess its the weather. We have been to Southend for a Salmon & Salad al-fresco Lunch in the grounds of an uncrowded Hotel ! They are packed like SARDINES on the Beach and *Sand in the Sanwhiches* which we avoided ! Just enjoying a cold San Miguel in our Garden with Smokey ~ we brought him a portion of Salmon which the Chef let us have when we showed him a picture of Smokey ! Do you beg sauages for Fido ?
      We enjoyed to Hymn Tune but had to source the WORDS ! Verses 3 & 4 about Communion are excellent !

      An altar stands within the shrine
      whereon once sacrificed
      is set - immaculate - divine
      the Lamb of God - the Christ !

      Ther rich & poor - from countless lands
      praise Christ in mystic mood
      there Nations reach forth holy hands
      to take Christ*s holy food !

      This is sublime Truth & quality Poetry !

      Thanks also for extracts form PSALM 119 - in which each of the 168 speaks so so positively of Gods Word the Bible ~ Thos who ridicule it and refuse to read it mss out on Great Blessings every single day ! The 8 verses you cite (PE) speak of the Bible as Gods Statutes ~ Precepts ~ Word ~ Commands ~ Decrees & Laws all spoken in His Soovereign Name ~ How awesome & assuring is that ! Thnaks for caring & sharing ~ AMEN !

        Thanks A&B. Yes, sausages for Fido. A hymn I know mentions 'rood' (your verse 4 here). Part of a church buidling, but I'm no architect.
        I makes it 176 verses to the Psalm. You one section short? I'm one sandwich short of a picnic, so some tell me! lol.
