Crimson Ribbon

Neville

Crimson Ribbon

Notice how she hangs there

Golden

Beaten like some campaign

Medal

Suspended

From a crimson ribbon frayed

Now then,

Sshh.. and truly listen

To these words of mine with caution

These are not just simple

Raindrops falling

These are real tears, truly shed

For broken women everywhere,

Taken, and sometime later laid to rest

Upon said, crimson ribbon frayed …

The fate of some females is frayed just like your tender verse says like ribbon and oft-times from birth they have abuse to crimson the colour of sadness - a truly moving write on a growing section of modern community - thanks for the caring reminder Nev.

        • ANGELA & BRIAN

Angela here - Good afternoon Neville - Thnaks for a verry challenging comment in suppoert of Broken Women ! In my PHYSIO Clinic I get Clients from ORTHPEDIC whose limbs have been literally broken by violent & abusive MEN ! Often they are *Scared of & scarred by MEN* and prefer a Female Physio with lots of TLC. They need a lot of LOVE to help them HEAL Physically & Mentally. Because I am Catholic I wear a Cross and we have a Nun in the Hospital Chaplaincy - who will pray with them !

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
          Love Angela & Brian & Smokey 💛💛💛

You never fail to succeed - you have a style of your own and your choice of subject matter is inspired.

I gotta meet these gals. I'm sure it's not the same gal each time. I dunno what I'm missing! Back in 6 months, when I've met them all. lol.

Sometimes it is.. but only sometimes .. and you are gonna need a lot longer than six months Orchidee ....

subtle, ever so subtle in delivery but, thunderously poignant!
indeed a message that is timely in bringing awareness to something that most urgently needs it,
these self isolation conditions have truly created more and more unbearable conditions for some of the most vulnerable in our society

                • Neville

.................... exactly ... thanks L.B and much appreciated you are too my friend ..
