Lush

Fay Slimm.

Lush.

Deep lush of bunched purple winds in trust
around mother-vine.

Lustrous with sun-ripening fragrance fruit
tumbles stalks entwined.

Small orbs of pure amethyst shoulder each
other for sun's eye.

Rich globes of velvet hang bloated in juice
yet rush toward prime.

What blush on faces for gain of front seats
at maturing time.

Tho' swollen in wait grape-harvest clusters
know "must makes best wine"

Reading you today brings forth the lust in me for red wine. I haven't had a sip of red wine since i had a stomach op in 2018,... used to love a ful bodied red.

Chateau-neuf-du-Slimm or Cabernet Slimmvignon. With such care into the nurture of your vine of words today I'm reassured that 2020 will again be a classy vintage. A corker!

Ha ha - - many thanks for the compliment D.A. - wow ! fancy having a wine named after yours truly - - your comment as ever is very welcome and hoping the read does not increase your lust for the red my friend.
