That Smile.

Goldfinch60

She would walk into a room

Her smile on her face

And people would look

And become happy,

Smiling with her,

With her infectious smile,

Always happy.

Everybody who knew her

Would comment,

Comment on her smile,

A smile that never left her face

Except that day,

That day that she passed.

But the memory of her smile

Will always be with me

As it will with all her knew her

And knew her smile.

I know that smile is there ,

Will always be there

As she looks down on me

Waiting,

Waiting for me,

Waiting for me to join her,

And we will smile together

As we sail towards eternity.

Those who can smile and see the lighter side of life are the ones who will always be remembered for the joy they bring. Joyce was obviously one of those gifted people.

What better gift could anyone give to the world than a natural unpretentious smile, so infectious that it becomes a possession in many peoples memory.
