Driving the Other Way.

Goldfinch60

I saw it so often,

It was my favourite car,

That navy blue DB Eleven.

So many times I saw it,

I wanted it,

Wanted to get in,

Get in and drive it,

But every time I saw it

It was going the other way.

Expensive dreams are best seen heading someplace we ain't going.

Good write Gold. So are people going the wrong way on some one-way streets. Can't they read, or at least see the arrows on the pavement? It's a waste of paint, as some take no notice. And WE get the dirty looks for going the RIGHT way.
If you say 'It's one way, mate', they will say 'But I am only going one way.' Doh!
Oh well, all doing what we can to reduce Covid - not!

Being retired though walking the other way through crowds of people going to work is so relaxing.
