The Lord said, This the Covenant
It be from heaven sent
New Covenant I with people
Shall make with nations all
I will put my laws in their minds
Within them they shall find
My laws, too write them in their hearts
E'en in their inward parts
And I to them a God will be
And they my people, see
Shall be, no intermediary
Except my Son shall be
For He shall from their sins them save
His life He shall have gave
And they all shall me, the Lord know
Myself I shall them show
Yes, all shall know, from least to great
Whate'er their class or state
For I will be merciful, bless
Them, I their righteousness
Their sins and iniquities they
Will all be washed away
I shall remember them no more
My Son bears them for sure
