Touched by Literature.

Goldfinch60

The words sit there on the page,

I read them into my heart.

It happens so very often,

The words become part of me,

As I am touched by literature.

So much is out there to inspire writing Michael, as you are aware art does it for me as well.

Yes, they are reading of our escapades from 1066 now. You getting ready for the Annual Reunion?

Every author's inner desire is to emotionally affect their reader surely.

I am motly inspired by the poetry upon mps. Yours included.

Thinking about it, it's impossible to make a comment here without being inspired. Though judging by the amount of reads my work gets comapred to the number of comments i'm failing badly or there are plain lazy readers out there.

I get my inspiration from many places, at the coffee bar I go to regularly I have gotten to know many people and a few days ago I was sitting near a couple who had their dog with them as they always do, it is a spaniel and the lady stoked the dogs hair up into a point on its head and I said 'Oh look, a Unicorn' and we laughed, I turned to them and said there must be some words to go with that and I wrote a poem and gave it to the them yesterday. The lady was in tears after she read it.

I didn't think it was that bad!

            I'll put it up tomorrow.

            Andy
