('All creatures of our God and King')

************

Join with heavenly company

And all in earth and sky and sea

To praise God, creator of all

Let all His creatures on Him call

He upholds them, they shall not fall

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

Remember Francis [of] Assist

His love, care for creation see

Alleluia, Alleluia!

All animals, if large or small

Their stature, be they short or tall

In wisdom God has made them all

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

Forgive our horrid greed and pain

Where we do seek for human gain

Alleluia, Alleluia!

To exploit, harm your creatures here

Causing them msiery and fear

Bringing them mourning grief and tear

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

But thanks for those who for good work

And in endeavours do not shirk

To provide sure creatures welfare

That they have life in a good share

Human care-takers treat them fair

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

O LORD, your works how manifold

Numberless, cannot all be told

All made in yout wisdom, and too

Earth full of your riches anew

Alleluia for St. Christopher who is a saint everyone can love! Isn't it funny that after Chernobyl the animals there are absolutely flourishing... it's become a kind of animal paradise they say...... so if Covid kills us all off they'll have a chance for a comeback.......happy Sunday!

        Orchi,

Hooray for Giovanni di Pietro di Bernardone aka St. Francis of Assisi. My grandmother and my mother were very devoted to him. I do admire his great love for animals and the environment.

        Happy Sunday.
