Wished-For

Fay Slimm.

Wished-For.

Today comes empathy-tinged.

What a dawning as pale sun,

breaking through grey,

about-faces

  and allays apprehension.

What a wished-for bit of news

      this lovely morning

joins with me

that hope be coming to you.

   Friendship its own comfort brings.

A fine write Fay. In a hymn, it says: 'Help me.... not so much to be understood and to understand'.
Yet we all need to be understood by others, or they won't know what we're on about. We'll be all in a mess, and not able to understand anyone else either!

Yes I agree Orchi - we all need to be understood. Thanks for your comment my friend.

indeed, we live as much in the shared sorrow and joy of those who grace our lives with their flavourful presence,
      a sweet dedication

Concern over a friends wellbeing and one's joy on learning of their good news is truly a measure of friendship given. When we allow someone into our aura of care we truly share their existence with our own and our loved ones.

I second your wise opinion on friendship my friend. Sharing the laughter and the challenges is what loved ones do for each other.

I'd like to be more understanding and, better still, to be more overstanding. Fine write Fay.
