Fear not, my people, for I be

With you for always, see

I am your God, be not dismayed

Trust firm and staid

 

I will strengthen you, and too I

Will help you, I am nigh

You, with my hand I will uphold

You in my fold

 

My hand, a hand of righteousness

I shall with it your bless

All that were against you shall fall

E'en one and all

 

You shall seek them, but shall not find

They be gone, out of mind

They be nothing, no more you harm

I bring you calm

 

For I the LORD your God will hold

Your right hand, trust, be bold

I will say to you, Fear not, for

I help you sure

 

Though you as a worm, and I great

I leave you not to fate

I your Redeemer, Holy One

    a different take: people assume fate as being aligned by deity, a refreshing perspective and a great line

      Thanks LB. Erm, we are 'worms' in comparison! Yes, I see how some assume fate as being aligned by deity. A bit more evangelism there, heehee. So they DO believe somewhat, or in something.

          He was great..... a real gentleman........... and looks like a saint in hindsight! Right now I'm just going to have simple faith that Trump is going to go away one way or the other....
