Whenever I go to the local shops
I keep buying pairs of alpaca socks,
it really is one of my silliest whims
for I have no alpacas to wear the darn things.

Not only hilarious and very niftily clever sir ... but a mighty coincidence too ... On venturing out for the first time yesterday after my period of quarantine .. my wife bought me two new pairs ... they make em quite near me and you need never wash, or change them ... I got half a dozen pairs now ... maybe that say's summat about my feet though .............................
My wife loves them and wears them to bed - very romantic - if you're an alpaca.
......................................................................... absolutely 🙂
I never knew alpacas needed socks but now shall knit some for my flock of sheep - -- ha - what a fun-read as the first of my day..............
Sheep shoes cost a mint lol

Thanks Angela - it's time they bred a slimline camel without spots - I'll get Glenit on to it.
Michael,
Now that Lorna has divulged that Glenit is a Momma’s boy, I hope his Momma remembers to take extra care when washing his socks...
never wring or twist!
An enjoyable read.
Laura🌻
Yes you must drip dry alpaca socks - but take them off first.
Oops 😬
I forgot that part😂
Delightful read !
I will go out a catch some alpacas for you and trot them up to your place for a fitting Michael.
Oops, as I was saying.... horse-hair brushes. It's deleted your comment as well as my first comment. Doh!
hilarious!
the aggressively protective elements to Alpaca's would have me feeling like a tucked-in tight Pharaoh sheep, if my significant other wore them around our homestead, but in bed I think I would prefer her to take them off... (in reference to your engaging convo with Neville) lol
Good one, yes. Fun and charming. Alpacas need socks too. Who thinks of them? At least two pairs.
the funny thing is,i live not far from a alpaca farm where they spin the yarn for socks.
