Broken and warped and so therefore
I decided to buy a new front door.
Ordered on line but the paradox:
it wouldn’t go through the letterbox.

- Comment from author about the poem: Jeanne came home from surgery on Tuesday and is progressing well. I've been busy doing all the housework cooking etc so little time for anything else. We now have an anxious time waiting for results.

LOL you could have replaced it with ajar..... it all hinges on unlocking the ridiculous.
Sorry to read that Jeanne had been hospitalised .... hoping for a positive outcome for you both.
It's quite a traumatic time made worse by the fact that she underwent lung surgery - the last thing you need in the middle of the current virus. thanks da.
Yes, best wishes to you both 🙂
Well, I got a new door. It would have fitted through the Fire Exit, but that had to be kept closed at all times. Doh! These are the things we have to deal with in life. lol.
Others reading our exchanges would think we're unhinged. We could end up locked up.
Yes lol.
Best wishes for Jeanne's full recovery as you take good care that she rests while you work at keeping hopes high
- - - sending you both warmest of thoughts.......... Fay
Thank you Fay - Jeanne's recovering leaps and bounds which is a joy to see.
Glad Jeanne is progressing well, I am sure all will be fine.
You are both always in my mind.
Andy
I truly hope so - next hurdle is the result of the biopsy of the nodule - fingers crossed.i
ANGELA HERE - Good Morning Uncle Mike - JEANNE & Yourself are in our Prayers. We had a new Front Door installed when we moved into our New Home and one of Brians jobs is *To polish up the Knocker on the New front Door* ! Men only begin to realise just much us Ladies do ~ when they have to take over. It is estimated as far as HOUSEWORK is concerned its 90% F & 10% M ! Although when Brian was *Home Alone* the % was reversed ~ Like YOU he is a good *House Husband* We are praying the NEWS will be GOOD !
Every BLESSING & Peace to You & Jeanne
Love Angela - Brian - Smokey 💛💛💛💛💛
It's amazing how I am progressing in the culinary arts - I can even cook water now - the art of making tea! Thank you for your generous concerns.
Hoping for the best for you and Jeanne, glad you utilised the outlet poetry can provide to helps release some of those turbulent feelings and I'm sure the new door will have served its purpose in freshening Jeanne's perspective: it's the little things that make the difference, as you know well
you're so right - it is the little things - we don't have a new door but I have ordered a new house number which should look so much better than the twee floral number that we inherited. Thanks LB.
Awe! Cute card! Handmade with love! Blessings to you both, hoping for positive outcome
thanks Dove - we'll know more in the next couple of weeks but in the meantime Jeanne is much more positive as the effects of anaesthesia wear off.
Hi Michael,
Hope you are well?
I wish Jeanne all the best after her surgery.
Lovely poem and drawing too.
Keep writing ✍ and safe during these challenging times.

Thanks FB - appreciate your kind comments.
LOL is it you who are broken and warped? Front doors are things of great import. Sounds like yours is often open! Best to you.
don't think I've ever been called warped = eccentric yes (even unhinged) but not warped. Thanks for looking in and the best to you as well.
I was referring to the joyfully dangling adjectives at the beginning of your poem!
Can't beat a bit of joyful dangling. lol
Wish Jeanne's recovery is god speed. Your humor is the best medicine.
Aw cheers m&m
