NIGELLA

Michael Edwards

To watch Nigella you must be devout

for when mixing or chopping

she keeps on stopping

for bouts of bum, tits and pout.

Oh my... looking up Cooking Channel now...

    • Michael Edwards

Nigella Lawson - very popular here in the UK and also in Australia or so I am told.

Oh lol. fine write and pic M.
Some quirky lines get into comedy shows, such as:
'Oh, I could never work for someone who wears red trousers'.
AND: 'Oh, I dunno if can take seriously anyone named Nigella'. (we don't choose our own names at birth!)
One more: 'Oh, I dunno if I could trust a certain person with a dodgy barnet'.

I have it growing in the garden and Jeanne uses the seeds in her cooking - funny old worlsd entit?

        lmao!
I agree she definitely profited from showcasing the elegant 'sway' in her assets,
and personally I think she takes one short cut - too many, for me to watch her show for its cookery quality's alone,
but credit where it's due - she didn't have to be a working mother (she married early - to a lot of money) and she always presented a down-to-earth genuine persona and projected herself as a loving mother - a good role model (even if not authentic),
the deep purple in those flowers is captured wonderfully in your picture - are they real flowers?
        hope Jeanne is feeling better

        • Michael Edwards

She reminds me of Julie London - the sexiest of singers. yes they are real flowers although with more of a tendency towards purple than the photo depicts.
Jeanne is progressing well but as the op was on her lung we are both having to self isolate - the test will come next week when she sees her surgeon to find out the results. Thanks so much for asking - it is so much appreciated.

Very true but every year at Christmas I use her recipe for preparing and cooking the turkey, it is always a total success.

              Hi Michael,

A charming write and good tribute to the culinary goddess.

I remember a much younger Mary Berry when I was a child.

              Jeanne's bouquet is gorgeous.

Keep writing ✍ and safe during lockdown.

              Whilst watching her puff pastry
              i was taken quite short
and on visiting the boys room
              discovered i was taught

              her meek-ro-wav-ay
              has a delightful wee ping
              and withdrawing her dish
              gets my ding-a-ling-ling
