A CURRY A WEEK ~ SAVES LIVES ! ~ TEN RHYMING DOUBLETS !

ANGELA & BRIAN

I have attached the SITAR VIDEO because that is the type of Music they play in our Local Indian Restaurant !  The WAITER always alleges ~ *It calms the Spirit makes the Food taste more authentic and aids digestion !*  Sometimes @ an extra £10 (= $13) per head - they have a *Live Sitar Ensemble* BEAUTIFUL !  Another feature is that they always serve a FREE Liqueur of your choice @ the end of the Meal ~ AMEN !

A TRIP TO THE INDIAN ~ Our weekly treat

Only one problem ~ the CHOICE is replete !

*A Curry a Week* Doctors Khumas advice

It cleans out your tubes and tastes very nice !

The choice is immense ~ from Mild Korma to HOT

With Lamb - Chicken - Prawn or Veggie the LOT !

A Bhuna is hotter - Rogan Josh or Madras

Vindaloo - Jalfrezi - warm you down to your A** !

Each Curry is different - the effect that they do

One gives you the VIND ~ You end up in the LOO !

When you choose a Curry to make it taste NICE

You need a SIDE and a NAN and a RICE !

Choosing Rice isnt simple ~ you must choose AGAIN

Pilau & Special - Coconut - Lemon or PLAIN

And when thats settled ~ and you long to be FED

You must chose from 20 SIDES & the style of NAN BREAD !

If you want *NOT TOO HOT* & everything NICE

Show your Father the MENU & ask His ADVICE !

If you want the CURRY to  fill you with CHEER

Then please wash it down with a Cold Cobra BEER !

Thanks for visit comments welcome - Love Angela 💛 Brian

I (Brian) always ask my DAD when choosing a Curry because He experienced the Curry Revolution in the UK in the 1960s & 70s. It is still very popular !  Because Angela has always eaten a lot of Spanish & Mexican Food - which is very *PIQUANTE* she can cope with more spicey Indian Food like Vindaloo or Jalfrezi !  I prefer a Bhuna or a Madras !  What is your FAVORITE ?

BRIAN HERE ~ Good Afternoon Friend ~ Im with You ! A full Indian with a Beer can cost £20 (= $27) so I dont want to burn my Throat on the first Mouthful ! Angela is very tolerant even though She *Likes it Hotter* ! Its when you*re *Out an a Curry Night with the LADS* that they call you *Chicken Korma* if you turn down a Jalfrezi ! Better tasty than *Too hasty !*

Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOURS

Gone are the days of real bum burner curries for me. It did seem to burn coming out the other end of me too... took the glace off the toilet pan... we had to place barbed wire around the toilet seat in case anyone fell in.
Yes i couldn't face a phall curry, i've tried most of the variations over the years and now a chicken biryani in a good restaurant is my pleasure along with a peshwari naan.... mind you I havent been near a restaurant since my recent digestive problems.

Enjoyed reading your light hearted and funny piece today.

Thanks DUSK ~ Pleased You enjoyed it and the Memory it invoked ! Ive never has a PHALL in our local Menu its listed as Hotter than a Jalfrezi ! I*ll get Angela to try one on Friday Night. We always get a Peshwari Naan we love the almond flavour it complements the spice in the Curry ! Biriyani is good they serve seven varieties ~ expensive ! Average Price £12 (= $16) ! but well worth it ! A Peshwari Naan is £3 (= S4).
Its true ones tummy has to be functioning 100% before one riskes a Curry !

Love & Peace & Joy to You & Yours

as you would probably expect (Jeanne hails from Burma) I do like Burmese curry which is quite different to the Indian styles in choice of spices and the use of fish sauce.

Unsurprisingly I too enjoy, and make, curries. Had a nice surprise the other week, a friend of mine asked me to join him for a curry as his new lady friend let him down, had a good evening in his local Indian restaurant, as I was driving did not have any alcohol but after the bill was paid the manager gave us a brandy each, my friend was a regular there and the manager always appreciated him going there.

Curries described so lightheartedly here dear duo - - - not too keen on the hottest but agree that those spices clean up the system.

BRIAN HERE ~ Thanks ANDY for a very positive VIBE ~ I had you down as a Curry Man ! In our Indian the normal gratis shot is a BRANDY bit there is a choice an ANGELA likea Quantro or a BAILEYS. A Civilised end to a
          spicy meal !.

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
          Love Angela - Brian - Smokey ! ! !
