Here we are,
In lockdown once more,
But I do have places to go.
Where shall I go today?
I went to the lounge yesterday,
I know I will go to the kitchen today
To see what treasures I can cook,
Maybe a steak and kidney pud,
That would be nice.
I would need to plan for tomorrow,
Maybe into the conservatory
And count the leaves on the plants,
Or even the prickles on the cacti.
Such a full life awaits me,
As I sit in lockdown once more.

You can go to different shops - the ones that are open, that is.
You can start your Ch....card list - you know!
I'm sure I saw a couple of shops open, that come under 'non-essential'.
Confusion is with us once more, my wine shop is an essential shop and that is open, I even have emails from them to tell me.

Oohh, do they tell you to beware of phantom waterers too? I bet they know me. I'm barred in fact!
Ah Andy - I don't know what to say about lockdown as I've never really done it. The State of Victoria has lead the way there. So is empathy without knowledge any good? 'Tell you what though: I will gain massively out of your experience if it provides you with the motivation to continue to exhibit the kind of beautiful music you have been showing us.
Stay safe. Dave
Thank you Dave, empathy is fine it is good to be able to 'chat'. I am fine as I have my words and music as my constant companions.
If I can share music with anyone and they appreciate it I am so glad. I have a great deal of it in my collection but one problem I realise with music id the more i get to know about it the more ignorant I realise I am, you will see this in my next poem on MPS.
Andy
oh the irony, as thick as that gravy that I assume will be adorning your pud...
good write Andy, humour is the way to get through 2020, can't allow yourself to take things too seriously
Thank you LB, You are right, there must be humour in our lives, especially at these Strange Times.

Well I'm churning out pen abstracts - started using them with colour and looks good.
Keep churning Michael, it will be interesting to see the colour abstracts.

Loving this light-hearted approach to a further lockdown - your pie sounds a winner when you get to the kitchen my friend.
Thank you Fay, cooking is a passion with me, I have been doing it all my life .

Hello Andy,
A superb write.
I wonder how many waves Covid will take.
I hope this second wave will be the last.
Keep writing ✍ and safe during lockdown.

Thank you FB, I would like to think that this is that last lockdown but I have my doubts.
