Word Wholeness

Tune: St Peter

('How sweet the name of Jesus sounds')

Psalm 119 v.137-144

*********

Righteous are you, LORD, and upright

Your judgements to my sight

Your testimonies sure have you

Commanded, they all true

And righteous and very faithful

They be, I see them all

My zeal it has consumed me for

My enemies abhor

They abhor and have forgotten

Your words spoen to men (mankind)

But your word very pure I find

Your mercies to me kind

Therefore I your servant do love

Your word, it encove (encovenant)

To me, for I am small, despised

But I have none beside

None beside you, and I recall

Your precepts, note them all

Your righteousness everlasting

Your law is truth, I sing

Trouble and anguish have took hold

Though  I still in your fold

And your commands are my delight

They pleasing in my sight

The righteousness of your laws be

Everlasting and free

Your testimonies last for e'er

Them I understand, share

Word wholeness - so you've replaced the missing syllables. Miss B will be pleased.
