Although it’s such a long way down
and even after all this time ……………
maybe
it’s not all that surprising ……………….
She still
tastes of sunlight rising …………………
and just
as hot as peppermints and green tea
she remains
yet to be slowly sipped ……………………
and correspondingly savoured ………….
