With Nature Once More

Goldfinch60

My River and I were walking in harmony

On this wonderful chill frosty morning,

The Full Moon guiding me along My Path,

The Glory of Nature surrounding me.

My River so calm and beautiful

In Dawns early light.

I turned found and there it was,

The Sun was lighting the horizon

In bright oranges and yellows.

I was there,

I was there in Natures full glory,

The Moon guiding me,

And the Sun pushing me,

Pushing me into my glorious life.

At peace within myself,

And at one with the Glory of Nature.

Wish i had a nearby river. The Severn is a bit of a jaunt away through the city. And of course, your being an inch or two east of me, mornings are earlier for you too.

Nice sunrise pic. Now you need to get on photoshop, or Gimp (freebie) if you don't have photoshop, and sort out that contrast between the sky and land. It's always been a disappointment to me that film or those digital CMOS thingies dont have the bandwidth of the human eye.

Our daughter lives in Lydney and she often walks or cycles by the Severn.

That picture is the way I saw it, as to using photo enhancing software I do use it to get the picture I want. I have been interested in photography for many, many years. Back in the days of black and white I used to develop and print all my pictures, I was even in at the beginning of colour photography, we had a photographer in the lab where I used to work and we had this new fangled colour photography development system installed. There were four tanks holding about 5 gallons of the developing agents in each tank, it was a long process to develop and print coloured photographs back then, but I was there.

Nice writing Andy, seems it's a day for Riverside walks and poetic reflections. The moon was shy or you were up much earlier! A peaceful read thanks.

Thank you RDS. I was up walking at the crack of dawn, as I always am and it was great to see the moon in the lightening blue sky.

agree, nothing like that symphony shower of glorious nature to flow and caress your worries away, as it cascades from from eyes and ears to goosebumps and toes,
