Un-Vocal.
A little silence mothers the truth for folk
who dare seek and embrace
the almost heard,
for if not smothered stillness comes close
to beauty of wisdom waiting
underneath sound
to beget more learning than before known.
Only to those who seek calm in un-vocal
can notes of non-sonance
compose relief
and produce mind's needful inner coping
as quietness births alchemy's
halcyon-balm
for healing the core of both heart and soul.

A fine write Fay.
'Tis what they all say to me - Keep ya singing un-vocal Orchi; it's the best way! lol.
Many thanks Orchi for your visit and read.
Cor! This made me think about silence, my silence poetically. "Nowt to say, say nowt".
I guess i'm reading into your words somethings i bumped into along the way when the reaction I wanted or expected just wasn't there.... but silence.... a resounding silence was.
Silence said and did so much more than words could have.
This, another of your wonderful pieces which encourage your reader into deep thought and understanding.
Yes dear friend a dose of silence has diverse meanings as your welcome comment shows - -glad that the read of Un-Vocal gave you some food for thought and thank you so much for your review..
Silence? I always talk most wisely with a shut mouth.
Ha - I know what you mean my friend. Sometimes silence speaks loudly.
A closed mouth gathers no flies - not sure where that came from - anyway another great write Fay
Ha - love the small mantra my friend - -maybe a remembered saying but how true eh ?
Silence can be so powerful in our lives Fay.
Andy
Yes dear friend - you chose a good word to describe silence for it can have more power than words.
Silence has never been expressed so vocally!!!!!!!!!!
I hold you in great esteem.
