Dear mother

Poetic Dan

Dear mother, I know I've never told you this enough

Thank you for the music you installed in us, for air I breathe and the life I have!

Now the past is long and gone, in the grand moment we can all belong!

Where we connect to show the next generation is home

When love brings back the all the stories untold

Please know we are your trophies that roam this earth

You should be proud and I am sorry it's taken this long
To wish you the happiness you deserve, from the youngest son & granddaughter

Thank you & many happy returns, may your sweet voice singing at breakfast never leave our hearts!

We many not see alot of each other but we look up at the same stars, I leave you with theses last words..

I'm greatful to have a spirit like yours, thank you for being unperfectly perfectly who you are!

  • Comment from author about the poem: Many may not know but the last thing I wrote about my mother was call "shadow of yourself" many years ago! I'll be 40 this year and feel so good to let go of our past and finally live in the forgiveness I feel in my heart, we all do the best to our ability in life! I am truly grateful for the light & the dark I got to experience and become who I am! Proud as punch and now sending it back and passing it on to any other soul that feel some bridges can mend. Time will always be the biggest healer, somethings can never be rushed!

I am actually in my home town and going to drop the picture and card in person! Times are changing and I'm glad to feel the light more than the dark!

I bet it felt good to write those words Dan.
Lately your posts are changing into words of giving out love to the world. Doesn't giving, giving from your heart, feel good.
Keep smiling. The world smiles back when you do that.

        • Poetic Dan

It definitely does my friend and I'm trying so hard to keep with that vibration, yet the more I try the more the darkness seems to test me!

After writing this morning, I walked the dog and lost my plot for chasing cats!!

All my fault for not training enough, still more work to do! In this 24/7 job when I don't expect good from either of us! We are ment to be the change that we want, so I'm saying this again to compound my own thoughts!

This is not being too harsh yet a declaration to get it right, keep spreading my wings to not lose the love and light in my heart!!

Thanks for helping me rant and never-ending inspiration!

LOL at the word 'rant'. We all have our ups and down mate but what i'd say to you is this- the next time you go 'down', don't look at it as being the end of being 'up'. It's just a glitch, we all have 'em.
Anyway, if you were a bad lot your dogs wouldnt like you would they. And they obviously do... you can't fool dogs like that. (but there again, you're the expert not me)

My first dictionary word of the day! Not that I couldn't read it but I stopped pretending I know what I don't a long time ago.....

Oooo that's an inspirational thought, cut and paste that lol!

              Always appreciate my friend

              Keep up the art!
