Tune: St Stephen
('The Lord will come and not be slow')
Malachi 3 v.1-4
**********
Behold, the LORD, His messenger
He shall send, so hearts stir
John Baptist, he shall prepare way
For the Christ in His day
He shall come to his temple swift
Then hearts rejoice, uplift
But who may the Christ's coming bear?
For He shall sure judge there
He does bring the new covenant
God's promise, testament
He shall sit, refine, as cleaner
To make all right and fair
Shall refine and shall purify
And His salvation nigh
Brings forgiveness, that people be
An offering pleasingly
A people to the LORD offered
His grace on them conferred
Come search our hearts, O Christ, may we
Serve you acceptably

The one you took off should be the one that is on here!
It was too bitter, and unhelpful. I stayed with that group 6 years, then went downhill, it seems. Some of it is me not getting very well with too-modern groups.
And what about the following commentaries here? I certainly didn't delete mine ....You had absolutely no right...Could start deletion wars on MPS Could render the whole enterprise useless - do you want that?
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I didn't like the 'b/s' comment that was included.
Doesn't matter whether you liked the 'b/s' comment or not - the way to go is to leave it there and refute it, enlist group opinion.(it wasn't only that particular comment that you deleted anyway) I'd delete half the entries at MPS I disagreed with if that were the current practice here.
It's called 'freedom of speech' 'Open debate' ' Democracy'. So stop it, you fascist...
Go on - delete that and I'll be coming for you...

BRIAN here ~ Gut Sabat St Stephen ~ Nice Organ Recital to kick start the Day ~ Love the Scripture Poem ! All the MINOR PROPHETS have a message for today ! As a practical Chemist I love the analogy of GOD as a Refiner of Metal Ore to Shining Practical Metals. Metals are awesome and because of their Chemical Structure they are (mainly) Strong ~ Malleable ~ Shiney & good conductors of Heat & Electricity ! There are Dozens of Metals ~ Hundreds of Alloys & thousands of Uses. I love Metallurgy ! Most metal ORES are have other uses ~ BUT when refined ~ especially in *THE IRON AGE* ~ metals make the World go round ! Its the same with us UNREFINED we are pretty MUNDANE ~ BUT REFINED ~ WE shine as light in the World and CONDUCT GODs LOVE to all we meet ! Im CHRROMIUM ~ Angela is SILVER ~ What metal are YOU ? Please add a MEMORY it our FUSION ~ *MEMORIES* click on developing to see it ~ Thanks ABC !
Blessings to You & Your *Rhyme & Rhythm Rover !*
Love Angela Brian & El Gato Ahumido ! ! !
Thanks A&B. I posted a rant originally for today. It was bitter in places.
Fido barked (my conscience), so I deleted it.
Orch: Looks like you also cleaned out commentary on this thread too. Who gave you authority to do that?
Oh yes, come search our hearts! Best to you
Thanks RB. Well, maybe an apt 'replacement poem' from me for today. I deleted one that had some bitter things in it.
Uplifting- Happy Holidays and Stay safe.
Thanks Jerry.
We all will be judged. You said it well. I do believe in karma, so we all better get ready!
Thanks Fred. I left off a rather bitter and judgemental alternative poem that I had for today.
You still up that tree?!
Yep! And I will never come down!
And the commentary
