THE CHIC MURRAY COLLECTION 7

Michael Edwards

I was hailed by the police for a quick spot check

They found a few zits and a boil on my neck.

Thank you Michael for my first laugh of the day - I hope there will be more.

There is a lot to be seen within the artwork which I like.

Thanks Andy - I've just had the first of these back from the framers and wiith a black insert and neat black frame they look quite Art Deco - now all I need is a start to exhibitions and open studio but I guess that'll be a good few months away. And the galleries are not accepting anything at the moment as trade is dead.

A gross programme on TV - Dr Pimple Popper. Not that I've seen it, only the trailer.

      • Michael Edwards

If I can find time I might squeeze in a viewing.

Those coppers have a strange vocabulary.
The other day a cop car drew alongside me and a cop started shouting about clothes at me.
Chap seemed to have a fixation on my pullover.

They can lead you on as well - a cop took me across to his car and told me to get in the rear - I was arrested for sexual assault.

Sounds fun if you're that way inclined 😮🙄

ok, well what a contrast from your artwork to the words lol, I will just try and blink away the crude imagery of your words, while contemplating the elegant subtlety of your artwork:
I thing the angled layout of the picture helps highlight the curves in your lines and invokes an upward momentum to your arrows, reminiscent of an abstract representation of the red arrow's aerobatic displays, I find it such an uplifting picture to contemplate, my favourite piece yet from your recent experimental collection Michael,
a reassuring glimpse at some semblance of peace you've been able to cultivate after recent events, (just in case I jinx anything - 'knock on wood' btw) lol

I'm knockin' - this is another small one (4by4ins) - two or four of these mounted together look pretty good. As is always the case in artwork they do need to be properly presented - well cut mount and simple frame - in this case black.

                    Hi Michael,

                    A good write.

Keep writing ✍ and safe during these challenging times.
