Maybe, just Maybe

FredPeyer

in this insane game played

by well-dressed lunatics

there will be no winner

champions will be

the nutcases swaddled

in dirty diapers

who madly hit the

rubber walls of their cells

the yellow haired one

inventor of fake news

beats democracy to death

with deception and lies

while his co-conspirators

bury their heads in sand

it will all go away

looking down on this stupidity

even the Gods are laughing

our laughter has been taken away

replaced by anger and fear

and they keep on dying

in overcrowded wards

they too thought it

would all go away

they implicitly trusted the

yellow haired one’s promises

idiots leading the blind

maybe, just maybe,

some time in the future

we will have something

to laugh about

once more

Sad message for tragic times.... but smile, cos soon theres' going to be fun when that blonde haired one loses his special status and gets dragged through the courts.

Could you imagine him doing stir LOL.

Thanks da, the really sad thing is that if I would have done what he did, I would be in jail already!

I sincerely hope there is eventually some justice and the yellow haired, yellow streaked one gets his comeuppance ....... the problem of course has always been that money talks and the yellow haired narcissist has a lot of it .................... I'm firmly in your corner though & keeping my fingers crossed .........

Yellow haired, yellow livered and yet so many can't see it and that thought is the most worrying.

            • FredPeyer

Thanks for your comment Michael, always appreciated, and you are right. Hopefully he will ride into the sunset now, better yet, fall off the edge of the world.

So true, we too have a yellow haired idiot in the UK.

              Andy

Thanks Andy, do you think it has to do with the color of the hair? Next time maybe we should get a bald one.

what an apt summary of the last four years in US and UK politics (wait, how long has it been for Boris? I'm a Londoner so I feel like I have had him belittling my existence for an eternity, already...)
what an impassioned write of insightful social commentary you've penned

Thanks so much L.B., I do appreciate your comment. These are troubling times, but once you hit bottom, it can only get better.
