Kept Away?

The warning goes out,

Although lockdown has passed

And all are in tiers,

The message went out.

Be careful,

Be careful of you behaviour

Especially when you going out,

Going out to visit,

To visit elderly relatives.

Then it came to me,

I am elderly,

Although in good health.

Does it mean I will not have visitors?

Is it a warning to others

To keep away,

To keep away from me

Because of my age.

      Why on earth do they have tiers - it causes so much confusion and discord - for goodness sake a set of rules across the entire country if we are serious about getting the numbers down. So many wimps out there - bite the bullet.

        I totally agree Michael. We must get these numbers down, I think it is becoming pretty obvious that we are going back into lockdown after Christmas.

          The tiers divide us, and in this case, so does age, but in my opinion, we are all in the same boat in this horrible pandemic storm.

                  We live in troubled times Andy. I don't want to visit anybody, I don't want anybody to visit me. I know I am lucky, still have my wife, so it is just the two of us for this Holiday Season. Turkey is out, don't think there is a turkey for two. Maybe a little hen, or what the heck, two sausages.
