A PAIR OF ANTIQUES
Today I bought an ancient pair
of knickers at the antique fair.
I must confess I’ve never seen another pair with such patina.

Oh lol good write and pic M. Say no more! Or it may become swoony. (our indecipherable repartee - bit of French there?!)
Rep R Tee - who is he?
Did you wear them? Or are you a collector???
Oh I wear them - but I take them off occasionally to exhibit them. lol
The patina on antiques is so important according to the experts.
Andy
Yes they put a lot of emphasis on evidence of 'wear'. 😁😁
Where did you wear them? 🙂
Dave
PS: testing ..One.. two..three.........Don';t know how long this will last before deletion.....thought I'd see...
On my head - Where else?
Michael,
your sense of humor does light up this site!
My family think I'm eccentric.
Cheers Fred.
while I appreciate your skill for crisp imagery: 'patina knicker's', is not something I ever wanted my over-indulgent imagination to picture with such detail... Ahem! lol
btw, your comment on Fred's write had me almost in tears (bits of me: indeed) lmao
oh and I took a few minutes to appreciate that beautifully serene scene of 'our everyday', we sadly take for granted it seems,
thanks for all the chuckles on a dreary Monday morning Michael
The picture is of Lincoln - long since sold - the picture that is - not Lincoln.
Hi Michael,
An entertaining write.
Victorian bliomers come to mind when you mean ancient.
Keep writing ✍ and safe during these challenging times.
