The year’s end is near
Another one gone by
And I am still here
Having seen so many
So many years end
And with the changes
The changes in my life
I am still here
And intend to be so
For a very long time
So there will be no goodbyes
No goodbyes from me
As there is so much to do
So many words to write
So much music to listen to
This passing year is just a moment
A moment in time
And there will be so many more
So many more moments in my life
Which I still wish to treasure.

You staying? Ah good! Yep, that's a lot of years for us two, and any other poets that were at Hastings.
Aww, they wish I would say 'goodbye', or at least say goodbye to my singing! lol.
And it's not goodbye from him. Or from me.
Very true Michael.

May you have countless moments left to enjoy dear Andy. A lovely read and an unforgettable number.
Thank you Fay, yes there are innumerable moments still awaiting me and us all.

YEAH! Well said Goldfinch. Thats exactly how i feel. Us oldies can hopefully look back at 2020 with all its strangeness as a short interlude in an enjoyable existence.
So true 2020 is just a moment in our long lives of joy and wonder.

may I be deemed worthy - enough, to be bestowed with even a modicum of that wisdom you've gleaned,
brilliant message, especially in the context of what must be such a difficult time in your life...
keep the faith my friend, 'she' must be so proud!
Thank you so much for your kind words Mek, they are much appreciated my friend.
