I looked out the window,
The snow was dropping
In large white flakes,
But then I started smiling.
As there walking down the road
Was dad and daughter,
Not really dressed for the occasion,
But there was the girl
Snowman’s ears on her head,
With a big smile over her face
Enjoying the moment in the snow.
The dad was smiling too,
Obviously a very happy family.

- Comment from author about the poem: As I looked out of my front room window I saw this dad and daughter walking down the road to the local shops. I wrote this poem and gave it to them on their way back, they were both surprised and pleased and the dads last words to me before they moved on were "Yes we are a happy family and will now be happier after reading this"

Good write Gold.
I saw a dog running around with two other dogs, enjoying life, whatever the season.
Thanks Orchi.
Enjoyment is out there for us all no matter which season it is.

When you see someone smile, you can't help but smile as well,
And such is with your words today.
Thank you Suresh, that is so true, smiles can be so wonderfully heartwarming.

Yes, life goes on, and this is a super realisation of enjoying other peoples pleasure. I too am enjoying thoughts of my distant grandchildren out there playing in the snow. I know their dad will be building a snowman with them.
This poem shows your heartfelt love of life Goldfinch.... long may that light twinkle in you.
Thank you d a, I am sure that light will twinkle in both of us for a very long time.
