FineB

The fifth day of Xmas,

The winter wind just howled,

Spurs fans are angry,

Their best player at the Emirates was definitely fouled.

      A fine write Fine.
How come football is still allowed in this crisis? Good to watch as sport, but there's far more important things than over-paid footballers being allowed to continue on, I reckon.

It was always so - I recall those heady days in the late 50s when I was a regular visiotor to White Hart Lane when physical contact was the name of the game - good old Smithy.

        Hi Michael,

Games are now crowdless during this pandemic.

The last football match that I went to was back in 1963 when Gillingham were promoted from the 4th to the 3rd division.

          Hi Andy,

Gosh, I remember when Steve Bruce football manager for Gillingham and the game was on ITV on The Big Match with Brian Moore as host.

Keep writing ✍ and safe during these challenging times.
