Christ born, full of truth and grace
He reflects His Father's face
God in human form appears
Brings us comforts, calms our fears

Light of the world come to earth
Tidings of a Saviour's birth
Inspire faith, that we believe
And Him in our hearts receive
Born of Mary, lowly, mild
In a manger laid her child
People and animals too
Rejoiced the great sight to view - Chorus
There no room in the inn for
He whom heaven and earth adore
Not in palaces He found
Christ does sleep in manger sound - Chorus
See, that birth for ever blessed
By humans, angels confessed
Light upon us, holy Son
Saviour now for every one - Chorus
Join we with the joyful throng
Of angels who sing their song
When to shepherds they appeared
Telling, god to man has neared - Chorus
Glory to God in highest
Message to north, south, east, west
On earth peace, to men good will
Christ He would God's will fulfil - Chorus
