Where would I be without it?
It has always been in my life,
From the moment of my birth
All through my childhood
Thanks to my father.
I caught the bug from him
And for that I am forever grateful.
So it is always in my life,
There is so much out there
I am overwhelmed by it,
But the enjoyment I get from it
Brings me all emotions.
Its power can bring such joy
And such sadness,
But I am never without it.
I have played it.
I have sung it.
But mostly I listen,
Listen to that glory,
That glory that is music,
Music in my life.

- Comment from author about the poem: All types of music is in my life as I believe there are only two type of music, that which you like and that which you don't. The piece that I have put on here I heard on the radio yesterday, never heard of them before but I will be looking out for them now.

So much music, so little time!
Great video, I bet you loved the saxophonist.

And where would I be? Music is life's lubricant.
So very true Michael.

Your chosen music was a new experience for me today Andy -- very cool and relatable -- and yes I agree music means so much to different listeners.
Thank you Fay. Yes I had never hears of that group before until I heard them on Radio 3 of all places.

Now you’ve done it Andy. Down the rabbit hole that is utube, morning gone – should have done my shopping a couple of hours ago before it got too hot….
Take it easy,
Dave
Thanks Dave, that rabbit hoe is endless as far as music is concerned.. As I say very often to people: So much music, so little time.
