A year ago today I wrote

I rode her like a rowing boat

Both up and down and fore n aft

Dear lord she was a splendid craft …

…..

Today though, she is but a scribble in the

margin of an old diary I found while packing …

                ............................. My Father was a boat builder Orchidee .. I had several crafts over many years, including a pontoon called 'Twenty-one Up' ............................................. Cheers
