Taking his new jeans out of tissue paper,
Up and out of it, watching the boy wonders
Where will I wear them?
Who will kiss me in them?

And that my friend, is the age-old question! Reminds me of my teens!
Mine as well. Thanks Fred.
It has been a long time since I have been kissed in jeans. I am still protesting about buying them, I used to wear them but back in the sixties when they became a fashion icon the price went up and I have never bought a pair of jeans since. LOL
Andy
Thanks Andy. I don't buy them often they last forever, was wearing a black pair when I wrote this that fell off someones boat 16 years ago. Yea I'm shameless.
I wear them round the house - might try them when I go out but might not get kissed - thanks to covid !!
Me and Linda have an agreement, I wont kiss other women and she wont kill me.
reading your words, I'm imagining
crinkled wrapping paper, snug-tight
adorning straight-laced jeans
fingers cradling with anticipation
awaiting, unknowing
of life's twists and turns
that will soon have
all that pure blue, washed-out
and every square inch - wrinkled
beyond recognition
a tale of life: journeyed
within those hurried steps
of innocence's
once cherished jeans...
thanks for inspiring my little reply Jerry,
such an immersive write you've penned, once again
Thanks L.B., love that word (immersive) you really have a gift for that.
