A Mystery to Solve

Accidental Poet

I once lived a life

A quest for truth

To explore all I am

To provoke my inner sleuth

The avenues of love

Of where and why

The source that beckons my heart

From birth to the day I die

The limits that hold me back

The impulse to break free

To find my answers

To be who I need to be

Then one day

Someone pushed the wrong button

Annoyed with my beliefs

Themselves a pessimistic glutton

After much contemplation

I resumed my quest

Another page turned

Another sunrise to pass the test

Life is to be lived

Life is to evolve

Life is to know love

A mystery to solve
