I step onto the lawn and look around
The multitudes of green surround me
Taking me into that world of Nature
Where I am always at peace with the world
And at peace with myself
I look up and there are buzzards sailing above
Their wings so still as they float in the air
Rising up into the beautiful blue sky
I hear the tapping of a woodpecker
On one of the trees that surround me
Their buds sprouting with New Life
As Spring comes to the land
And the beauty of this world renews.
Here I stand at one with Nature
That place where I need to be
And will always be
As my Life and Nature join
Join as one in harmony
As I step onto the lawn

Yes we can all connect with nature when we stop, listen, look and care.

Good write Gold.
Erm, I didn't get the hang of it. I stepped INTO something on the lawn, when I stepped onto it. Not Fido, but that pesky dog from next door. lol.
Not on our lawn! We have the croquet police on hand at all times.
