TAKING THE RISE
He told me he went up in a hot air balloon.
‘No you didn’t’ I replied, ‘you are a buffoon’.
I can see you are puzzled and before you ask it’s
a fact that balloonists go up in baskets.

MY first laugh of the day Michael - thank you so very much.
Andy
Another intriguing artwork, much to fathom there which to me is what art is about in many ways.
Thanks Andy - doing a lot of commissions at the moment so these abstracts have gone on the back burner for a while.
That's great Michael, glad to see you are keeping busy in these 'Strange Times'.

Fantastic as ever! Always a step above clever lol
Cheers Dan - always love playing semantics being the pedant I am.
Good write and pic M.
Miss Berles sends her best wishes.
Quite right too Michael β a good old semantic argument can be very rewarding when one has a good hand.
How you achieve the balance in your pictures must be your special secret.
With these abstracts I don't do them in one go - I usually do a few lines and keep returning to them adding bits. Taking spaces between means I see them in a different light each time I return to them - if I did them in one go I'm certain I would lose balance and composition.
Still laughing at your fantastic wit - thanks for both image and smiles at taking the rise Mike.
Always pleased to give a smile.
..now thatβs full of hot air .....
I mean the balloon, and not you, my friend
I wouldn't be so sure - it was a big BBQ last night!!
Thanks for the lift!
Thanks for rising to it ! ππ
what an ode to contradiction's synchronicity, your artwork displays proudly: beautiful,
a wonderfully witty read as ever Michael, so glad work is picking up for you
Thanks LB - yes all is good.
