A Dream with No End

Accidental Poet

Once upon a time

I knew nothing of love

Then suddenly

It was all I could think of

It was like

The world’s greatest dream

I was lost in her smile

Paradise, or so it seemed

Swiftly, my heart knew

Something had changed

As a boy of only ten

My life’s purpose rearranged

I knew then

The feeling of love

How it surrounded me

Completely like a glove

Someday we’ll both walk

In Heaven’s garden above

And she will have read

All my words of love

For the rest of my days here

To her my heart will send

The dream of love in my heart

A dream with no end
