Sowing And Reaping

Tune: Luckington

('Let all the world in every corner sing')

Psalm 126

********

When the LORD turned, brought back captivity

Of Zion, see

We were like those that dream

Though all hope lost may seem

Then our mouth it was filled

With laughter unconcealed

And our tongue filled with singing, for now we

Returned, so be

They they did say there among the nations

They chosen ones

The LORD has done great things

For them, His grace them brings

And this be our reply

Yes, the LORD He is nigh

And He has done great things for us, we glad

Now no more sad

Turn us again, LORD, our captivity

That it may be

As streams that in south flow

Refreshment may we know

They that do sow in tears

Harvest to them appears

For they shall reap in joy, bear precious seed

God shall them heed
