Readied.
I, Rose am an ocean of excited serenity.
Let my gown over-sewn with velvet redolence
smooth anticipation of petal-strewn nectar
within folds of covert intention
Eros pervades this unction's therapy.
May the morrow's oiled wed-lock regale the bed
as maidenhood's finery waits shylessly scented
with rousing aromas drenched.
Thus art I readied for married integrity.
Might our arranged union beget fathering much,
so come Sir Knight with thine ardour uncovered
and show me thy ways of love.

serenity of poetry!
So pleased you enjoyed the read dear Prem.
Ah Rose...Thanks for that, Fay - a little eroticsm can go a long way.
Enjoyed muchly.
My fancy for using olde English phrases when viewing the image above gets very lyrical with gentle erotica Dave - - - maidens were often prepared with months of scented oiling before being wed......... yes sensuous meant a lot in the days of yore my friend.......... many thank yous for your visit and comment.
Lovely words , Fay 🙂
Thank you dear Rose - am pleased you enjoyed the read.
My word, this 'virgin' bride has been well schooled and readied for her grooms attentions and desires. So much so that one worries about the possibility of...... nah, i'm too twenty first century..... is there such a thing as a virgin bride any more?
OOOH Fay, the messes you get me into. Now look wht you've done.
Hah - now you have raised a moot question my friend on virginal brides in these modern days - hhmmm - - female liberation from repression and ignorance brought many changes but glad you enjoyed my take on a near-married maiden in medieval times.
Good write Fay.
Many thanks Orchi.
Oh upon my every word .. such an invitation should not be deferred .. I shall hasten to thy chamber forthwith my lady ............... hold on while I cometh .................... x
Laughin' enough to fall off my olde castle walls at this consummate comment of fun - thou Sir Neville art a knave of a Knight who knowest quite well I wilt succumb......... ha ha .......x
Just looked in and found this - I now know everything is still tickety boo here on MPS.
Ah - - big thanks Mike - really appreciate your visit and kind comment on Readied.
Your knight will ride into your life very soon with words like these pulling him to you Fay.
Andy
Ha - - - you are so kind dear Andy - - love has many guises methinks and am so pleased you looked in to my take on the archaic age of chivalry in Readied.
