lonely

Dysthymia

tired of an empty feeling

i’m tired of being alone

no one texting or calling

so what’s the use of my phone

if my phone rings

i jump right to it

it can be anything

but it’s just a scam shit

i do get texts

every now and then

but there’s one in particular

that i want texts from again and again

it doesn’t upset me if i don’t get a text

from that certain one

i just get lonely

because i don’t text anyone

i know i should talk to more people

and not depend on her

it’s just hard to open up

and talk to someone like how i talk to her

i just became so comfortable

but it can give her weight on her shoulders

all the venting can make her worry

and i don’t want her to carry my boulders

Very moving passages from a lonely heart.

Suggestion, find a bench in middle of town and sit. You'll be surprised at the cameraderie of others and light conversations strike up easily. Stay light hearted and people will talk with you..... it's very soul lifting.

Emotive words Dysthymia, I hope you have contact with her soon.
