Ah, music and love - much improved from salutes to soldiers, AP
If you've got a problem with my writing Dave, maybe we should just not read each other.
I was encouraging with respect to music and love, AP. No two people agree on absolutely everything. However if that is the level at which you manage your personal interactions, then so be it. You make your decisions, I will make mine.
Please note I am not agreeing. I hope that doesn't make you too uncomfortable......... 😊
Your earlier note ( much improved from salutes to soldiers, AP) made a reference to my previous entry of yesterday. In yesterday's entry you questioned me on the battles Americans have fought. You implied that Americans are not defending freedom and therefore that I was wrong to thank our American Heroes for their service. I'll say it again Dave. If you don't like what I write, maybe we shouldn't read each other. You do have that right to not read my writings.
You may say it as often as you like, AP - I will read, or not read what you write when, how or if I like. Whether or not I comment is quite another thing.......
"Rights" are too important an issue in this world for the term to be used so loosely.
BTW: there are few things in this world which get me so riled up than guns and military aggression. Hence my comment to you.
I'm also against guns and violence, but you made your comment sound like you were against my poem respecting my American heroes. And my poem was not JUST about military heroes.
It was however there. If you want to put a different spin on it , please fee free.
For the record, my exact words: "Leaving aside the two great wars for the moment, which specific conflicts could be classified as the defense of our freedom, AP?"
