We Can Co-exist

Accidental Poet

You live your life

As you wish

And I’ll live mine

An effort to co-exist

Today’s world a crazy place

Mind what you do

And be careful what you say

Not everyone thinks as you do

I’m no angel

A student in the school of life

I’ve made my share of mistakes

Paid my dues in deserved strife

Now I do my best

To give back good karma

Pay it forward

A smile for my mama

But the path I walk

Unique of my own

Were you to walk my path

My truth to you would be shown

We’ve all different perspectives

Seen from various views

Each our own interpretations

Each our own truths

Respect comes with a price

In order to deserve respect

You must be respectful of others

Unless a conflict you expect

Our beliefs may vary

But still, we can co-exist

Give each other space

In such a place as this

Yes 'In such a place as this we should be able', AP.
It's a good 'un, full of truth. Did you write it today?

We shall co-exist, but can we? This world will be a much better place if we could show respect to each other a bit. Well done.

We can, if we followed your advise
But unfortunately, we are unwilling to compromise.
          Very enjoyable read

Respect is the most important thing in all life, if only all life would respect it.

            'Give each other space
In such a place as this'
            indeed, we owe Volver
and all those who make MPS
that space of inclusivity it strives to be
cherish it - while it lasts, at least..
            thanks for sharing, dear poet
