The day is ended,
Up the stairs I walk,
I go into the bedroom
And I see it,
See it on the floor,
A white feather
Showing she’s there,
Still with me.
My lover has been there
In her new guise,
Her new guise
Of being an Angel,
Giving me her love,
Knowing that our love
Will never fail,
And when I get my wings,
My wings of an angel
We will fly together,
Together towards infinity.

Lovely words goldfinch 🙂 white feathers are definitely a sign of an Angel ... glad you feel an Angel / she is there for you .
They truly are a sign of angels in our lives yellowrose.

... quite simply beautiful my friend .. I got a shiver down my spine as I read your splendid days offering .....
So kind Neville, I too had shivers down my spine when I saw the feather.

Angels are true helpers and loving
messengers and the sign of a white feather must have given you such a pleasure dear friend. Love is forever .
Angels certainly are loving, yes it gave me such pleasure - the feather will be saved.

Good write Gold. Angels are said to have wings - made of feathers? So........
I saw some feathers along part of a country walk. Maybe placed randomly on posts.
Several posts had 1, 2, or 3 feathers in no particular sequence. I don't know if it had any meaning.
Thanks Orchi, feathers can mean so much to people in many ways.
