In matters of finance there is no doubt

when money comes in the sport goes out.

Great picture. Well guessing that your poetry is your sport, it's recent absence from MPS must mean there's lots of money coming in.

    Good to see you ME.

    • Michael Edwards

Not sure about the money but -yes - two big commissions to start and dealing with my wife's health problems.

I'm sorry to learn your wife is unwell Michael. I do not want to pry at all but wish you both well.

A truth indeed Michael and good to see you back posting your wonderful water colours again.

It was one of my father's sayings - he was against any form of professional sport which is probably taking it to extremes but I know too well where he was coming from.

I would totally agree with him. Messi receives, earns is the wrong word, £250,000 per day!!

Great Painting, love the shadows and detail, and the pint size of wisdom

Picture makes me all nostalgic again. Middle building a pub (lettering over doorway)?
With respect to health problems , wish you both the very best outcome,

            • Michael Edwards

Thanks Dave - the outlook is not what we would wish for but we keep our fingers crossed.

that duality conundrum of balance: in life..
              a wonderful shorty Michael

            • Poetic Dan

Definitely a favourite and a trigger of mine, yet we made it become so!
